For the 2008-09 school year I will cross the pond for a year of study at a university in England as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. Check in on my blog to read about my preparations before I leave and all the adventures I have when I am there!
England isn’t my only destination this year-I’ll also keep you posted on my trip with the Purdue “All-American” Marching Band to Beijing.

A nice article in this morning’s Journal & Courier. I stopped by your blog this morning and will return to read more carefully of your experiences. I envy, especially, your China visit. It is nice to read about the early successes of one of Mary’s daughters and Jenny’s nieces, both of whom were once “my students” at Attica Grade School. Your grandparents, too, would be proud of you.

Amy,
I was surprised to open up the Journal and Courier and see your article this week. It seems like we were just talking about your “upcoming” trip last May. I think this is a great opportunity for you. I am confident you are going to have a spectacular year. I know that the Attica Rotary Club should be proud of their study abroad choice, because you are such a nice girl and I know you will learn and bring your experiences back home to Attica sometime. I know your parents must be proud, too, but I wanted to wish you the very best in Europe. It can be a lifechanging experience, and I hope you will enjoy every moment. Have fun and be safe!

Hi Amy
It was good meeting you tonight at the Rotary Club of Accrington. You seem to be enjoying your time with us in the UK and your presentation was much appreciated by us all.
Pity about the colour balance from the projector, but the effect was very artistic.
Best wishes and please keep in touch. Your thoughts on my Blog at http://www.trailblazerbusinessfutures.wordpress.com will be appreciated when you have the time.
We seem to have piched the same theme!
